Quilting Ministry

Stitching Together Love, Comfort, and Prayer

The Quilting Ministry meets every Monday and Tuesday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.  This dedicated group loving creates approximately 150 quilts each year , sharing warmth, comfort, and God’s love with those in need.

Quilts are donated to the Methodist Home for Children, residents at area nursing homes and individuals.  Recently, the ministry began offering free pocket prayer quilts to our church family as a small reminder of the power of prayer.

The mission receives donated fabric from many sources and appreciates the support given to them by the congregation.  Funds are raised through sales at the church’s annual Christmas market, a family dinner and donations.  Donations are used to purchase batting, thread and other supplies.

Whether through donated fabric, financial support, or a willingness to lend a helping hand, there are many ways to support this meaningful ministry.
