Faith Harbor United Methodist Youth
At Faith Harbor United Methodist Church, youth are an important part of the congregation. They participate in worship by being liturgists, preparing Children’s sermons, volunteering at Vacation Bible School and taking part in youth activities and events.
Grades 6-8 Wayfinders
Youth at this age are starting to find their way to Jesus! They do this by coming together for games, Bible study and fun special activities with other kids their age in a safe and welcoming environment.
Wayfinders meet on the first and third Sunday of the month after church where they enjoy a meal, game and Bible study.
Grades 9-12 Navigators
Navigators are learning to navigate their beliefs and their studies with everyday life at school and home. The Reef is their home, at Faith Harbor. They spend time learning about Christ, about themselves and taking Christ with them into the world.
Navigators meet every Sunday during the school year at The Reef and enjoy group and team building games, prayers, Bible study and discussion.
Special Events
Throughout the year, there are special fun events that bring the Wayfinders and Navigators together. These fun activities include spiritual retreats, axe throwing, ski trips, zombie hunting at Halloween, Friendsgiving, Christmas lights and so much more.
Mission Trips
Mission work and mission trips are a big part of the youth program at Faith Harbor. Throughout the year there are opportunities for the youth to work in the community, making it a better place. In the summer a mission trip is offered to the Navigators to take that mission work into a larger community out of state or out of the country.
Leadership
