Make a Joyful Noise to the Lord!

Music is one of God’s wonderful gifts, and at Faith Harbor United Methodist Church, music is an important part of our worship and ministry. Whether you love to sing, play an instrument, or prefer to help behind the scenes, there is a place for you in our Music Ministry.

Join the Choir: The choir helps to lead worship each Sunday at the 9:30 am service.  Practice is held Wednesday evening at 7:00pm.  The choir sings a variety of music including, traditional hymns, contemporary Christian and special selections.  At times, the choir will join the Praise and Worship team. Take part in the Christmas Cantata: The choir once a year performs a Christmas Cantata in December.  This is a highlight of our Music Ministry.  Practice begins in September to prepare for the special music.

In 2026 the Faith Harbor UMC choir will join with singers from Hampstead UMC and Wesleyan Chapel United Methodist Church to perform a special Cantata on December 13 at 4:00pm. We welcome additional voices to join us for this special performance.

Join the Praise and Worship Band: If your musical gift is an instrument there are ways to be involved.  You can share your talents through guitars, drums, horns and keyboards.  What a joyful noise!  The Praise and Worship Band participates in worship at Faith Harbor but also at other functions throughout the community.

Audio/Visual Ministry: You don’t have to sing or play an instrument to be an important part of our worship ministry.  Each week, volunteers help make our worship service available to those joining us online through our Audio Visual and livestreaming ministry.  If you enjoy technology, or would like to learn, we would love to have you be a part of the team.  For more information about this mission please reach out to Brittany Audet at ebaudet7@gmail.com
