At Faith harbor United Methodist Church, we believe that growing in faith is a lifelong journey. Through involvement with the Coastal Carolina Emmaus Community, we encourage adults and youth to deepen their relationship with Christ, strengthen their spiritual foundations, and discover new ways to serve God and others.
The Walk to Emmaus – A Journey of Faith
The Walk to Emmaus is a three-day spiritual retreat designed to inspire, encourage, and equip adults to grow as Christian disciples and leaders. Through worship, prayer, fellowship, and reflection, participants experience God’s love in meaningful ways and are encouraged to put their faith into action.
Whether you are actively involved in church or seeking to renew your relationship with God, the Walk to Emmaus offers an opportunity for spiritual renewal, lasting friendships, and a deeper understanding of God’s purpose for your life.
Faith Harbor is an active participant in the Coastal Carolina Emmaus Community, which offers separate retreats for men and women each spring and fall. Retreats typically begin Thursday evening and conclude Sunday evening.
Son Coast Chrysalis – Faith Takes Flight!
Chrysalis is a three-day Christian retreat designed especially for high school students ages 15–18. During these important years of discovery and growth, Chrysalis provides a welcoming, faith-filled environment where young people can explore their beliefs, strengthen their relationship with Christ, and build lasting friendships.
Through worship, small-group discussions, prayer, and fellowship, teens are encouraged to discover their God-given gifts and develop the confidence to live out their faith in everyday life.
Chrysalis is more than a weekend retreat—it’s an opportunity for young hearts to grow, friendships to flourish, and faith to take flight!
