Preschool Director-Ms. Denielle

Ms. Denielle  is the Preschool Director at Faith Harbor, where she has served for the past three years. She holds a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and is passionate about providing children with a loving, nurturing, and engaging environment where they can learn and grow.Denielle is also a mother of four children. When she’s not serving at FaithHarbor, she loves spending quality time with her family and making meaningful memories together. Her love for children, education, and family is at the heart of her work

TK Lead Teacher -Ms. Monique

Ms. Monique has 17 years of experience in education and is in her third year teaching in North Carolina. Her background includes special education and kindergarten. Originally from California, she spent most of her life in Virginia. Outside of school, she enjoys traveling, exploring new places, and spending time with her family.

TK Assistant Teacher-Ms. Kim

Miss Kim has a background in art and advertising and spent several years living in the UK. She later became a stay-at-home mom to three boys, who are now amazing young men, and a proud grandmother to her first granddaughter. She went on to work as a Kindergarten Teacher Assistant with GCS in Greensboro, NC. After retiring and opening an Etsy shop, she realized how much she missed being around little ones. When the opportunity came to join FH T-K part-time, she knew it was the perfect fit!

4s Lead Teacher-Ms. Amy

Ms. Amy is a passionate early childhood educator with a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a love for creating joyful, meaningful learning experiences for young children. Originally from Arkansas, she began her teaching career in kindergarten and now enjoys teaching preschool while raising her family with her husband and their two daughters. Outside the classroom, Amy loves spending time with her family, crafting, visiting the beach, drinking coffee, and listening to a good audiobook.

4s Assistant Teacher-Ms. Laura

Ms. Laura is originally from Winston-Salem, NC, where she grew up and attended college. She is a proud military spouse of 18 years and a mom of three children. Laura is blessed to work as an assistant teacher at Faith Harbor Preschool, where she loves being part of the school community.

3s Lead Teacher-Ms. Dottie

Ms. Dottie is excited to begin her third year at Faith Harbor Preschool! She grew up in Maryland and earned her Elementary Education degree in 2007. She moved to North Carolina in 2011 when her husband, who serves in the Navy, brought their family to the area.
Dottie is a mom of two, ages 7 and 12, and has a black Lab named Winnie. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, playing sports, and substituting at SCE. Her favorite part of teaching the 3s is the funny conversations they share during circle time.

3s Assistant Teacher- Ms. Kris

Ms. Kris is in her third year teaching at Faith Harbor Preschool! She has an Early Childhood Education degree from UNC-G and over 30 years of teaching experience. She is a proud mom of two sons, a wonderful daughter-in-law, and an awesome grandson. In her free time, she enjoys morning beach walks, spending time with her grandson, and traveling. Her favorite part of teaching preschool is watching children grow and learn so much in such a short time.

2s Lead Teacher-Ms. Jen

Ms. Jen is in her second year at Faith Harbor Preschool and has 30 years of teaching experience. She is married with four grown children, a son-in-law, four grandsons—including a set of twins—and a puppy named Carlisle. In her free time, she enjoys movies, reading, bowling, and spending time at the beach, where she loves to swim, walk, watch the sunrise, fish, and relax.

2s Assistant Teacher- Ms. Vickie

Ms. Vickie is beginning her third year teaching the two-year-old class at Faith Harbor. She has 30 years of experience in early education and special education with Onslow County Schools. She lives in Surf City with her goldendoodle, Tugger, and enjoys spending time with her three daughters and four grandsons, traveling, and exploring the mountains and national parks. She is excited to continue her journey at Faith Harbor and looks forward to another wonderful year of learning, growing, and making special memories with her little ones!
